With a giant pair of scissors, owner Shawn McCormick cuts a shiny blue ribbon marking the official opening of B.H. James Distillers in Adairville, Kentucky. Led by Amy Brooks of the Logan County Chamber of Commerce, the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was the cherry on top of McCormick’s 10 year dream of opening a distillery in his family’s hometown of Adairville, Kentucky. In attendance were members of McCormick’s family, distillery employees, Adairville Mayor Donna Blake, Adairville City Council Members, Adairville-South Logan County Chamber of Commerce President Danny Finch and Treasurer Terry Holiday, members of the construction team and many other community businesses and neighbors. Attendees were treated to samples and mini-cocktails of all the new distiller’s products.
